ATLANTA, GA - November 22, 2025 - Anatar, avertically integrated textile and apparel manufacturer, is proud to announce its official approval as a member of the Defense Industrial Base Consortium (DIBC), administered by Advanced Technology International (ATI). This strategic milestone affirms Anatar's commitment to rebuilding domestic manufacturing capacity and supporting U.S. national security through advanced textile production.

Strengthening America's Defense Industrial Base

The Defense Industrial Base Consortium is a U.S. Department of Defense (DOD) sponsored initiative designed to strengthen and expand America's defense industrial base. The consortium fosters collaboration between government, industry, and research institutions to build a robust, secure, and resilient supply chain capable of responding to national security needs without reliance on foreign sources.

As a DIBC member, Anatar gains access to a dynamic network of traditional and non-traditional defense contractors, research institutions, and federal agencies. This membership enables the company to participate in federally funded research, prototyping, and production opportunities in areas critical to national defense - including advanced textiles, autonomous manufacturing systems, and domestic supply chain development.

Why Domestic Textile Manufacturing Matters

With 97% of U.S. apparel currently imported and critical textile supply chains dependent on foreign production, rebuilding domestic manufacturing capacity represents both an economic and national security imperative. The COVID-19 pandemic and recent geopolitical tensions have exposed dangerous vulnerabilities in America's ability to produce essential textile goods - from military uniforms to protective equipment - within its own borders.

"Anatar's inclusion in the DIBC is a significant validation of our mission to reshore critical textile manufacturing capacity," said Kaia Rhodes, Founder and CEO of Anatar. "We are honored to support the Department of Defense's efforts to secure the nation's industrial base and look forward to collaborating with consortium members to advance innovation, supply chain resilience, and American manufacturing sovereignty."

Technology-Driven Manufacturing Revival

Anatar is rebuilding American textile manufacturing indsutry through a combination of autonomous production systems and supply chain intelligence software. The company has solved key technical challenges in fabric manipulation - historically one of the most difficult problems in manufacturing automation - enabling domestic production to compete with offshore labor costs while maintaining superior quality and lead times.

The company's Loom platform provides real-time operational intelligence across the textile supply chain, enabling manufacturers, brands, and government agencies to verify product origin, ensure compliance, and optimize production routing. This technology is particularly relevant for defense applications where supply chain transparency and domestic sourcing requirements are critical.

Looking Ahead

Anatar's DIBC membership comes as the company expands its production capacity and deepens relationships with defense contractors, major retailers, and textile industry partners. The company is building its first autonomous manufacturing facility in Georgia, scheduled to begin operations in 2026, with plans to create hundreds of American manufacturing jobs while serving both commercial and defense customers.
